We are proud to be recognized by U.S. News &amp; World Report as a High Performing Hospital.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What we are looking for&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Applicants should have a current state RN license.</p><p>Bachelors degree preferred but not required&nbsp;</p><p>Additional requirements include:</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\">·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;One year of experience preferred</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0.25in;\"><strong>The Registered Nurse</strong> assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for a given population based upon age specific and cultural needs. This is done in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach embracing quality and safety.<br>Assures quality of care by measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital philosophies and standards of care set by North Carolina State Board of Nursing, , and other governing agency regulations.<br>Coordinates the delivery of patient care for the Rehab Unit, facilitates problem solving with staff members and communicates necessary issues to nursing administration and the Program Manager.<br>Every effort has been made to make this job description as complete as possible.
