WRVA and WRNL, “Sport Radio 910 the Fan” in Richmond, Virginia has a rare opening for a Part Time Board Operator/Producer and On Air Personality.  2026 will be an unbelievable year in news, politics and sports, so come and be a part of a legendary radio station in one of America’s coolest cities. </p>\n<p>You’ll be working with an experienced Major Market management team as well as an outstanding support staff.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are always searching for talented individuals who are passionate about joining our dynamic team. We appreciate your interest and look forward to reviewing your application!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><u>Job responsibilities:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs as well as produce talk shows, sporting events, and on-site broadcasts</li>\n <li> Candidates must demonstrate the ability to collaborate on story ideas and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Candidates must be detail oriented and cool under the pressure of meeting tight deadlines.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with newsroom staff</li>\n <li>Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative</li>\n <li>Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; manage online personality presence</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work a schedule that will include holidays, nights, overnights, and/or weekends.</li>\n <li>Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.</li>\n <li>Other duties as required by management</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and/or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
