    "description": "<h2>Department Overview</h2>\n<p>Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University are seeking Hospitalists to join our established Hospitalist Division in Astoria, Oregon.</p>\n<h2>Function/Duties of Position</h2>\n<p>Opportunity to provide hospitalist services at a Critical Access Hospital on the Oregon Coast while having an affiliation with the state of Oregon’s only academic medical center.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Physician led hospitalist program where person-centered care is prioritized.</li>\n <li>Prioritize work-life balance with a 158 annual shift requirement.</li>\n <li>Average of 13.2, 12-hour shifts per month including day and night shifts.</li>\n <li>Tele-intensivists are available for consultation on all ICU patients.</li>\n <li>Collaborative hospitalist division with daily APP coverage.</li>\n <li>Growing and financially strong organization.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.</li>\n <li>Board certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine</li>\n <li>Active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License</li>\n <li>DEA Certificate ACLS Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Details</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation and Benefits </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Shift based compensation model with differential for night shifts.</li>\n <li>$20,000 hiring bonus.</li>\n <li>$5,000 annual CME stipend.</li>\n <li>Relocation bonus or hospital owned housing provided during scheduled shifts.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits including retirement plan options with employer matching contributions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Columbia Memorial Hospital </strong></p>\n<p>CMH is the fastest growing rural hospital in Oregon, serving the healthcare needs of the northern Oregon coast with a collaborative relationship with Oregon Health & Science University.
