    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Summary</u></strong></p><p>We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer with a proven track record of implementing best-in-class processes within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will report to the Engineering Manager and is an integral member of the Engineering team. You will work cross-functionally to implement manufacturing improvements and drive data-driven root cause solutions to technical problems. The ideal candidate takes pride in his/her work, analytical ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail. &nbsp;He/She appreciates an environment where superior work is encouraged, noticed, and rewarded and where individuals carry tremendous responsibility. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Responsible for ensuring manufacturing lines meet uptime, availability, and reliability metrics &ndash; OEE, capacity, cycle time, quality, and first-pass yield.</li><li>Continuously improve reliability metrics and utilize these metrics to recommend innovative solutions based on data-driven analyses.</li><li>Own individual workstations, tools, and production lines, and present periodic updates to management on the health of the owned areas.&nbsp;</li><li>Apply Design for X (DfX) principles to propose improvements of legacy products and during the new product introduction (NPI) process.</li><li>Design tooling, fixtures, and automated systems to manufacture products at the lowest cost and shortest cycle time.&nbsp;</li><li>Qualify production processes based on dimensional data, control plans, and PFMEAs.</li><li>Ability to program parts for production on Mazak and Tsugami equipment using Solid Cam and MasterCam Software.</li><li>Work with suppliers and customers to understand the root cause of failures, propose process and design changes, and implement and validate proposed modifications.</li><li>Develop and deliver training to operations and maintenance technicians to ensure the seamless handover of new equipment. &nbsp;</li><li>Train production teams on new processes and techniques.Collaborate with all cross-functional team members to understand challenges and utilize feedback supported by data to improve manufacturing operations.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Minimum Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical engineering, or related technical degree (ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred).</li><li>Minimum five (5) years manufacturing and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of statistics.</li><li>Experience with improving quality and cost in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Experience with Tableau, Minitab, SQL, and SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) desired.</li><li>Prior CNC or manual machining experience beneficial.</li><li>Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, occasionally requiring extended hours.</li><li>Occasional domestic and international travel required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Engineering or Business Master&rsquo;s Degree (MBA).</li><li>Six Sigma Black Belt (preferably awarded from a world-class manufacturing organization).</li><li>Experience with automating production processes.</li><li>Experience in lean manufacturing implementation.</li><li>Experience with CNC machining, assembly processes, and/or distribution and logistics is beneficial.</li><li>Experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
