Advanced Bending Technologies is looking for an experienced Coater to join our Paint department in Calgary, Alberta.

The Role:
The Coater is responsible for prepping, blasting, and painting metal pipes and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Prep and paint various products Read specifications and painting instructions Ensure work meets process requirements and quality control standards Prepare and mix required paint and coating materials using 2 component paints Ensure all health and safety policies are followed Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records
What You Bring:
Minimum 5 years paint/coating experience including blasting, epoxies, urethanes and zincs NACE or AMP certification is considered an asset Proficient in operating industrial coating equipment, including King pumps (45:1 and up), conventional/pressure pot systems, cup guns, Graco XM 70 plural component pump, and HPX3, with experience spraying polyurethane Ability to read and understand processing, handling, and application requirements for all paint and coating materials Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) legislation Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Intermediate computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suite Comfortable around equipment, flipping bends, hot/cold bending environments and working in confined spaces Forklift certification is considered an asset Thank you for your interest in Advanced Bending Technologies .
