OMC certified preferred.</p><p>2. Previous small and large outboard experience.</p><p>3. High school graduate preferred.</p><p>4. Ability to work with guest in all areas with a positive approach.</p><p>5. Ability to concentrate on detail and follow-up work while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.</p><p>6. Ability to work as a team.</p><p><strong>Purpose:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To ensure the rental boat is mechanically operational for the customer during the rental period.</p><p><strong>Major Duties:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>1. Knowledge of operating and maintaining outboard propulsion engines.</p><p>2. Conduct pre-rental mechanical checklist to include the following:</p><p>a. Electrical and fuel systems</p><p>b. Props</p><p>c. Batteries</p><p>d. Bilge cases</p><p>e. Gear cases</p><p>f. Steering system</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>3. Utilize skills to troubleshoot mechanical, fuel and electrical problems.</p><p>4. Knowledge of the proper operation of houseboats/small boats.</p><p>5. Know how to perform trim and tilts.</p><p>6. Always operate with an emphasis on guest hospitality.</p><p>8. Use &ldquo;clean as you go&rdquo; method when performing your work duties.</p><p>9. Operate equipment with energy conservation in mind.</p><p>10. Adhere to safety policies.</p><p>11. Be present at all departmental, resort, and training meetings.</p><p>12. Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (both within the department and in other resort departments)</p><p>13. Maintain a positive attitude toward the resort and the job being performed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>General:</strong></p><p>1. Be aware of daily activities and events at the resort.</p><p>2. Be knowledgeable of all resort operations.</p><p>3.
