Today we’re delighted to have over 1,800 experienced and fun team members across the state, each impacting and helping to drive our business forward.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong></em></p>\n<p>The Propane Tank Setter is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, installations, and maintenance of residential and commercial customer’s propane tanks. This role requires the a strong commitment to safely operating a boom truck and installing equipment necessary to operate the tank, while complying with state and federal regulations standardizing the transport and delivery of hazardous materials. </p>\n<p><strong>Delivery and Installation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Load and secure tank specified for delivery</li>\n <li>Plan route for each trip to minimize travel time and ensure safe road conditions.</li>\n <li>Set tank, ensuring location has been prepped correctly. </li>\n <li>Install copper conduit, gauges, relief valves and other necessary equipment. This may require entering the customer’s building to ensure proper installation. </li>\n <li>Check valves and connections for any leaks. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Maintain Equipment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete daily pre and post trip inspections.</li>\n <li>Perform maintenance as necessary. </li>\n <li>Report any hazards in loading and unloading areas.</li>\n <li>Keep assigned vehicle clean and well organized.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Record Keeping</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Efficiently and accurately maintain daily manifests and trip logs, equipment logs, and sales logs. </li>\n <li>Record all materials used for an install</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Hazardous Materials</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Report any spills immediately to the supervisor and Hazmat Emergency Response number. </li>\n <li>Maintain require logs of any incidents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Customer Service</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain open communication with supervisor regarding your schedule and any changes to the business needs.</li>\n <li>Ensure satisfactory working relationships with customers. </li>\n <li>Be aware of opportunities to increase sales or improve customer relations during your interactions and share with leadership as appropriate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Experience Needed</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Successful completion of driver training certification from an accredited technical school or specialty driving program, combined with a minimum of six months experience operating comparable equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be 21 years old, as required by DOT regulations, to legally haul hazardous materials.</li>\n <li>Must possess and maintain a current, valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)</li>\n <li>Must possess required endorsements to operate a motor vehicle over 26,000 pound, including air brake, tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.</li>\n <li>Possess state Class C training and certification for hazardous materials, complying with EPA and MDEQ regulations.</li>\n <li>Be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to calculate and record rate, ratio and percentage data.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to interact with customers.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work on uneven surfaces and ascend and descend a ladder safely.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>Benefits: </em></strong>Our team members enjoy insurances including Medical & Prescription plan coverages, FSA/HSA, Dental, Vision, Short & Long Term Disability, Life Insurances, Hospitalization, Accident and Critical Illness, PTO, Tuition Assistance Programs, Employee Assistance Plan, Identity Theft Protection, and Home Heating Discounts.</p>\n<p> </p>",
