As a team, we continually embrace our core values:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Passion: </strong>We love helping others succeed.<strong>Excellence:</strong> We strive to be the best.<strong>Adaptability: </strong>We learn, in part by trying new ideas.<strong>Accountability: </strong>We own our results.<strong>Integrity: </strong>We do the right thing.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<p>Under general supervision from the Nursing Lab Manager, the Nursing Lab Specialist will play a vital role in supporting student academic success by preparing, assisting, and resetting lab sessions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work in conjunction with Nursing Lab Manager and faculty to coordinate instructional lab sessions.</li>\n <li>Support the Nursing Lab Manager and faculty in purchasing, organizing, and re-stocking the nursing lab supplies.</li>\n <li>Coordinate updates, service, and replacement of nursing lab equipment as required.</li>\n <li>Set up simulation and skills labs to facilitate effective academic sessions.</li>\n <li>Control the simulator (Hi-Fidelity Mannequin) for various clinical scenarios in accordance with the faculty specifications.</li>\n <li>Operate the patient simulator, camera, and debrief system for the duration of a simulation while troubleshooting any equipment malfunctions.</li>\n <li>Deliver a theatrical production of scenarios to students in accordance with the academic plan, acting as a simulated patient when required by the scenario.</li>\n <li>Adhere to standards and safety protocols in the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>At Arizona College of Nursing, we believe in a collaborative approach where all colleagues work together towards our shared goals. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Must have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree in a healthcare-related area of study or equivalent skills and healthcare experience.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and follow-up skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and students.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Nice to have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with nursing or similar lab equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Are Offering You:</h2>Competitive pay and opportunities for professional development.
