We provide short-term, high-impact support (3–4 months) for K–12 students and families navigating social, emotional, and school-related challenges.</p>\n<p>Our work is rooted in:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strength-based practice</li>\n <li>Trauma-informed care</li>\n <li>Culturally responsive approaches</li>\n <li>Collaborative problem-solving</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#SocialWorker</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Family & Student Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide short-term (3–4 month) intensive support</li>\n <li>Conduct intake interviews, social histories, and ecological assessments</li>\n <li>Develop and implement Collaborative Care Plans with families and schools</li>\n <li>Provide: Individual counseling, Parent Coaching, Case management</li>\n <li>Create sustainable discharge plans for long-term success</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>School Collaboration</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Build strong partnerships with educators and school teams</li>\n <li>Observe students and classrooms; provide strengths-based recommendations</li>\n <li>Facilitate solution-focused, collaborative meetings</li>\n <li>Deliver training and coaching to school staff as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Lighthouse Classroom Support (up to 10 hrs./week)</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide in-class coaching and therapeutic support as needed for transitional support</li>\n <li>Facilitate weekly group counseling (45 minutes)</li>\n <li>Participate in team meetings and student planning</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Professional Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain timely documentation and database entry</li>\n <li>Participate in supervision and team collaboration</li>\n <li>Travel to schools, homes, and community locations as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in Social Work or related mental health field</li>\n <li>Experience with youth, families, or school-based/community work</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Trauma-informed care</li>\n   <li>Family systems</li>\n   <li>Culturally responsive practices</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule</li>\n <li>Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation</li>\n <li>Willingness to use a personal smartphone for work communication (work number provided)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Preferred Qualifications</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>LMSW/LCSW (or eligibile)</li>\n <li>Experience in school settings or educational environments</li>\n <li>Bilingual or multilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Keywords (for visibility)Social Worker, School Social Worker, Mental Health Clinician, Family Support, Case Manager, Youth Counselor, School-Based Therapist, Community Social Worker, LMSW, LCSW</p>\n<p> </p>Our approach to Diversity and Inclusion -\n<strong>\"A world where all people know they belong.\"</strong>",
