Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategic Vision Serve as the principal physician leader for Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation, setting the vision for clinical, academic, and research excellence. Foster a culture of collaboration across multidisciplinary teams (e.g., medical oncology, cellular therapy, supportive care) to deliver seamless, patient-centered care. Champion quality, safety, and innovation in clinical and administrative practice. Clinical Operations Oversee day-to-day operations across two campuses, ensuring high-quality, efficient care delivery for hematology and transplant patients. Drive performance metrics, resource allocation, and operational workflows to optimize patient access and outcomes. Partner with enterprise leadership to align departmental goals with institutional priorities. Program Development Expand and enhance programs in hematology and hematopoietic cell transplantation, including CAR-T and cellular therapies. Lead strategic growth initiatives to strengthen clinical volumes, research capabilities, and regional presence. Faculty Mentorship & Recruitment Recruit, retain, and mentor a team of physicians and scientists, fostering academic productivity and career development. Build a collaborative environment that supports faculty engagement and scholarly achievement. Research & Innovation Advance translational and clinical research in hematologic malignancies and transplantation. Promote integration of research into clinical practice, leveraging City of Hope’s robust infrastructure and resources. Compensation & Benefits Base compensation range is $500k-$900k plus participation in a leadership incentive program. Excellent benefits, including a generous retirement contribution plan; relocation assistance available. Base salary will be tailored to the candidate’s reputation and experience; base compensation is exclusive of incentive pay and benefits.
