This leadership role ensures consistent execution of service standards, food quality, and safety protocols while driving team performance and guest satisfaction. The Area Manager reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and collaborates with other departments to support park-wide initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>Leadership and Team Management</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise and coach food and beverage staff to ensure high performance and guest satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Provide training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed.</li>\n <li>Create schedules and ensure adequate staffing to meet operational demands.</li>\n <li>Foster a positive work environment and enforce departmental standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Financial Performance</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Achieve financial targets including revenue per cap, cost of goods, and labor costs.</li>\n <li>Prepare and analyze budgets to meet departmental goals.</li>\n <li>Support cost control strategies and monitor financial performance.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with leadership to implement revenue-generating initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Administrative and Communication Duties</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete required administrative paperwork and documentation.</li>\n <li>Maintain effective communication with staff, departments, and leadership.</li>\n <li>Respond professionally to calls, emails, and radio communications.</li>\n <li>Communicate operational updates and guest feedback to senior leadership.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Inventory, Ordering, Budget Management</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse teams to maintain inventory levels.</li>\n <li>Establish and monitor par levels to minimize waste and ensure efficient production.</li>\n <li>Support catering and in-park foodservice needs.</li>\n <li>Assist with ordering, receiving, and budget tracking.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Safety and Sanitation</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure strict adherence to health department regulations and company sanitation standards.</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of all food and beverage areas.</li>\n <li>Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs.</li>\n <li>Promote safe food handling practices and enforce safety policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2–4 years in food and beverage management; 4 years supervisory experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.</li>\n <li>Valid California Food Handler’s Card and ServSafe Food Manager Certification required.</li>\n <li>ServSafe Alcohol Certification required.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>\n <li>Must pass background check and drug screening per company policy.</li>\n</ul>",
