If this sounds like a company that shares your values, then we may have an opportunity for you.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing shift employees, as well as meeting defined key performance goals for safety, quality, production, service, and efficiency. Schedule priority production machines and employee assignments. Assist and work under direction of production manager. Supervisors are required to spend 75% of their time on the production floor supporting employees and solving problems.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Keep employees safe by conducting regular safety inspections, responding to safety incidents, identifying and resolving safety hazards, and holding ALL employees accountable to safety procedures and behaving safely.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead safety improvement initiatives on shift in assigned areas.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead by example and set a high standard for safe and professional behavior.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee daily operation of assigned areas.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Schedule production team members work assignments.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead in-the-moment problem solving in the production environment allowing production team members to safely create the required amount of quality finished goods.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Reconcile timecards daily and approve timecards and payroll weekly.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Administer corrective actions, coach employees, and provide performance feedback.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Administer annual performance reviews for production team members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production team members.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate regularly with management regarding problems or issues impacting safety, quality, and production.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Evaluate machine readiness to ensure continuous and safe production and minimal downtime.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead team to meet established safety, quality, production, service, and cost goals on shift.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop standard operating procedures and policies that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.    </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee and work with on-shift maintenance and tooling team members to ensure effective and efficient change overs.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science Degree and 2 to 3 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Internal Candidates may waive the degree requirement based on performance and relevant experience </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Attention to detail and organization is a must </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong creative, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential  </li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>",
