You’ll be paid during your training!</p><p>This training will prepare you for your claims adjuster’s license, recognized by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).<br>By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to pass your exams and start your career with confidence and competence.</p><p><strong>What to Expect&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for investigating and settling automobile claims&nbsp;</li><li>Provide prompt, courteous, accurate and fair claims service to all customers, internal and external&nbsp;</li><li>Manage auto telephone claims until resolution&nbsp;</li><li>Fully explain the claim process to all customers in a way they will easily understand&nbsp;</li><li>Confirm whether claims are covered under a customer’s policy&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all claims are promptly investigated.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with the customer and preferred vendors to determine the best way to resolve the claim.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems&nbsp;</li><li>Process claims payments within your authority level&nbsp;</li><li>Initiate salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned claims.&nbsp;</li><li>Achieve the targeted number of assigned claims per year, while living our core values and meeting competencies.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What &nbsp;you Bring&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>AEC or College Diploma is needed</li><li>Individuals who are in the process of obtaining their insurance license will also be considered for this position.</li><li>Experience handling automobile with a good understanding of terminology and auto policies&nbsp;</li><li>Previous customer service is a definite asset.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent keyboarding skills and ability to navigate through numerous screens and systems quickly and easily.&nbsp;</li><li>Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers.&nbsp;</li><li>You perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>Bilingual (French and English).</li></ul><p>High degree of proficiency with English and French is required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Salary Range:</strong></span></span> $52,000 - $57,000</p>",
