    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer for our Quality group in Mount Olive, NJ who will be responsible for the following:</p>\n<p><span><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Developing, evaluating, revising, and applying technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products</li>\n <li>Ensuring activities and items are following both company quality assurance standards, ISO regulations, and applicable government regulations</li>\n <li>Performing analysis and identifying trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary</li>\n <li>Ensuring that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed</li>\n <li><span>Providing Quality Systems support (Supplier Quality, Calibration, CAPA, Change Control, and Quality Records)</span></li>\n <li>Develop and maintain process documentation including assembly procedures,<br>\n   test procedures, routers, travelers, BOMs, process flows, and process FMEAs</li>\n <li>Qualify and optimize processes and tooling via IQ/OQ/PQ, Gage R&amp;R Studies, Process Capability Studies and Designs of Experiments&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Participate in the investigation of failures and formulation and implementation of action plans for all internal corrective actions, audit findings and address WIP and Incoming MRB in a timely manner</li>\n <li>DFMEAs/PFMEAs</li>\n <li>Evaluating and analyzing the efforts in&nbsp;organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records</li>\n <li>Using professional concepts; applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors</li>\n <li>Exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate<br>\n   action</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Requirements</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Engineering or other technical degree</li>\n <li>3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer or analytical background in development or manufacturing</li>\n <li>Experience and practical application of SPC, Lean Manufacturing, Error-Proofing, ANOVA, DOE,</li>\n <li>FMEA, Sampling Plans and Gage R&amp;R analysis&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience developing quality assurance standards and defining and tracking quality assurance metrics&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with LabView and/or automation of sample data transfer</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio software</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>ASQ certification</li>\n <li>Good organizational, attention to detail and follow-through skills&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal communication and customer interface skills&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to interface with multiple groups in the organization</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills with a working knowledge of statistical quality methods, sampling methodologies, and Design of Experiments&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience with precision device development and manufacturing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
