Join our Vehicle System Integration team as a Senior/Staff System Integration and Test Engineer. You will ensure seamless integration and robust performance across the Body Control, Braking, Steering, Thermal, & Power Distribution domains.
We don’t just validate; our team's mission is to push the boundaries of system integration testing earlier in the development cycle. We drive an iterative, end-to-end integration process to stay ahead of the curve.
Your expertise in automotive development and hands-on testing is critical. You will play a key role in delivering a world-class Robotaxi service. Together, we turn complex electrical architectures into a safe and reliable reality for our riders.
In this role, you will:
Develop and evolve integration test plans across system bench and vehicle assets to ensure robust system functionality as the platform matures
Partner with Systems, Hardware and Firmware Engineering teams to identify integration risks early through testing and build robust mitigation strategies to keep the program on track.
Lead forums to resolve complex system issues and report on robustness, risks and mitigation plans during program reviews.
Mentor the integration and test team in applying data-driven testing and integration methodologies across all vehicle systems.
Lead the development and commissioning of system test benches, using rapid prototype tool (e.g., dSpace micro-autobox) to supplement target ECU to overcome challenges with timing and maturity of components
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
At least 10 years of experience in Vehicle System Development and Integration, with a deep experience in one of the following domains: Body Control, Braking, Steering, Thermal, or Power Distribution
Deep technical understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, OBD2, Ethernet) and 12V Power Management
Extensive hands-on experience conducting bench and vehicle-level testing, including instrumentation and advanced data analysis to ensure function robustness
Expertise developing integration test plans based on SFMEA Analysis and well-versed in technical problem solving methodologies like Six Sigma, 8D, Shainin Red X etc.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with Automotive Calibration Development at Vehicle Level
Experience with Controls Development using xIL and Rapid Controls Prototyping
Experience with development and integration of vehicle program from prototype to launch
Experience with ISO 21448 (SOTIF) or ISO26262 (Automotive functional safety)
