We are continuously evolving, pioneering new technologies and&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;reinventing existing ones, stretching ourselves to be better in everything we do.<br>&nbsp;We are looking for people who want to make a difference, talented members with the skills&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;and passions to become the best of the future in what they do.<br>&nbsp;Job Summary<br>&nbsp;Reporting to the ME Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer, MRB will provide on-site&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;operational engineering support to the composite fan cases production team at our&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Tallassee, Alabama site to deliver timely resolution of non-conformances and enable a<br>&nbsp;stable production output.<br>&nbsp;Accountable to review and resolve defects and non-conforming conditions in a production&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;environment by delivering robust, capable and approved rework/repair instructions which<br>&nbsp;precisely follow internal and customer requirements.<br>&nbsp;This is a contract position. Flexibility to work on second shift and weekends where needed&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;to support the program is preferred.<br>&nbsp;Job Responsibilities<br>&nbsp;&bull; Work alongside Quality Inspectors to review and classify defects on the production&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;floor and catalogue these in internal quality software.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Prepare and submit non-conformances and proposed dispositions to the customer&rsquo;s&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;MRB Liaison team via an external portal. Manage and prioritize open non conformances in accordance with delivery priorities.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ensure timely responses to customer queries and clarifications to obtain MRB&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;disposition approval/concurrence from customer MRB Liaison.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Prepare internal engineering repair instructions in-line with customer approved&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;dispositions to resolve non-conformances.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Issue approved repair instructions to production and document the completion of&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;these repairs in the customer portal to allow NC closure.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Any other tasks or duties deemed necessary by the ME Manager.<br>&nbsp;Job Qualifications<br>&nbsp;Required Qualifications:<br>&nbsp;&bull; BA/BS Engineering OR in lieu of degree, 10 years of aerospace manufacturing&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;experience.<br>&nbsp;&bull; 2+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).<br>&nbsp;&bull; US Person for Export Compliance purposes.<br>&nbsp;Preferred Qualifications:<br>&nbsp;&bull; Working knowledge of composite structures and related processes.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Demonstrated experience working on Material Review Board (MRB) activities.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Experience with Aerospace systems and processes (eNMS portal).<br>&nbsp;&bull; Experience with Aerospace products &amp; processes (TIPQA).<br>&nbsp;&bull; Familiarity with GD&amp;T and able to review drawings and specifications to determine&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;product requirements and tolerances.<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership internally</span></span></p><p style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:115%;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;' data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Kaleidoscope, an Infosys Company, is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, spouse of protected veteran, or disability.</strong></p>\n",
