CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding.  Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>1.         MSN with specialization as an APRN</p>\n<p>2.         Current state license as an Nurse Practitioner</p>\n<p>3.         BLS upon hire and maintain current</p>\n<p>4.         Two years of experience as a nurse practitioner in a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine clinic, preferred.</p>\n<p>5.
