Aagard operator monitoring performance of the operation. &nbsp;This job will be assigned to specific &nbsp;line location of the Aagard machines.</p><p>Maintains constant attendance to the Aagard machines and perform operation.</p><ul><li>Maintains constant attendance to the Aagard machines and perform operation.</li><li>Makes minor machine adjustment.</li><li>&nbsp;Informs to the Lead or the maintenance department when major repairs are required.</li><li>Records all down time due to machine malfunctions and reports them to the Lead or Supervisor any time problems occur.</li><li>Clears machine jams.</li><li>Inspect packaging material for Machine Operation.</li></ul><p><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p><p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for the production of a quality product that meets all customer and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Effectively communicates as required with supervisor.</li><li>Assures that the necessary tools, settings and supplies are ready prior to production.</li><li>Records and accounts for all materials used on the line for assigned shift.</li><li>Assists supervisor in maintaining the work areas in a clean and safe manner.</li><li>Adhere to all GMP&rsquo;s (Good Manufacturing Practices), such as good hand washing practices and adhering to the employee hygiene plan. &nbsp;</li><li>Follow all USDA guidelines</li><li>Report any issues regarding food safety or quality to supervision and/or quality assurance</li><li>Comply with customer requirements when applicable</li><li>Responsible for upholding, following and maintaining the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as may be assigned or volunteered for.</li></ul><p><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p><p><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Good communications skills, hard working, dependable, safety conscious</li><li>Read, write English and know basic math.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 6 months of production experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to operate mechanical and electrical machines.</li><li>High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred.</li><li>Able to make logical decisions.&nbsp;</li><li>Work standing or walking for long periods of time.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required</strong></p><ul><li>Good communications skills, hard working, dependable, safety conscious</li><li>Read, write English and know basic math.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum 6 months of production experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to operate mechanical and electrical machines.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred.</li><li>Able to make logical decisions.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p><em>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
