    "description": "<p>JOB OPPORTUNITY with the Glenview Park District:</p>\n\n<p>Early Childhood Camp Counselor (Part-Time, Seasonal)</p>\n\n<p>\"Recreate\" a better life with a career in the field of Parks &amp; Recreation!</p>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p><b>JOB SUMMARY</b></p>\n\n<p>In this fun and rewarding position, you will get hands-on experience by:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Meeting &amp; greeting parents and campers upon arrivals and departures</li>\n\t<li>Actively participating in daily activities alongside campers</li>\n\t<li>Leading and supervising campers to ensure rewarding and safe camp experiences</li>\n\t<li>Understanding and following the direction of the Camp Director</li>\n\t<li>Engaging in regular communication with parents, campers, and staff</li>\n\t<li>Ensuring safety for all participants and administering basic first aid as necessary</li>\n\t<li>Assisting with set-up and break-down of campsite</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p>\n\n<p>Qualified candidates must be at least 16 years of age and should have:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Experience working in a summer camp or similar position</li>\n\t<li>Knowledge of camps and camp activities</li>\n\t<li>Excellent skills in working with children</li>\n\t<li>Ability to effectively communicate with parents, campers and staff</li>\n\t<li>Ability to work with children aged 3-5 years old</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p> </p>\n\n<p><b>SCHEDULING &amp; PAY</b></p>\n\n<p>This is a part-time position in the summer.
