For the 8th consecutive year, we have been named one of the top 20 Physician Groups in Southern California by Coordinated Healthcare Associates (IHA).</p>\n<p><span>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Uses appropriate techniques with ultrasound equipment to supply diagnostic studies based upon physician request</li>\n <li>Performs a variety of technical procedures to support physician’s diagnosis</li>\n <li>Responsible for providing high quality imaging</li>\n <li>Appropriately acquire echocardiographic measurements per protocol, create digital preliminary reports for the interpreting physician, and verbally communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician</li>\n <li>Reviews physician order to verify appropriateness for order being performed</li>\n <li>Retrieve studies from PACS for review</li>\n <li>Perform appropriate infection control processes</li>\n <li>Provide an environment of care that supports patient safety</li>\n <li>Addresses patient educational needs as pertains to requested studies</li>\n <li>Prepare patients for the study</li>\n <li>Supports IAC Standards and Guidelines</li>\n <li>Assures accuracy data for clinical reports, demographics and billing information for physician reports</li>\n <li>Support team approach and service focus work with colleagues in a \"team approach\" to encourage a positive and service-oriented image for the department.</li>\n</ul>",
