We operate as a collective, where excellence, expertise, and creativity are valued by all.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">The crew you’ll join </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Lighting and Compositing Artist in the Feature Animation team collaborates with the Lead Lighting and Compositing Leads and Supervisors as well as our Head of Lighting to create compelling final imagery</span><span style=\"color: rgb(68, 71, 70); font-size: 10pt\">.</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> They are responsible for the 3D lighting and rendering of all 3D elements and the final composition of high-quality production plans.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">The script</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold\">What your day will look like ?</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work with the Lighting Lead and experienced artists to understand the look of individual sequences to achieve technical and artistic objectives while respecting the story;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Receive master shots for sequences and work with direction from the Lighting and Compositing Lead to light and composite them;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Create master light rigs and assemble lighting setups for a sequence in line with the Supervisor's Lighting and compositing indications;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Light and composite shots using Gaffer and Nuke using the predefined light rigs and look development templates provided;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide artistic input using your shading and color understanding while harmonizing the creative and technical aspects of each shot;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Problem solve and troubleshoot any artistic and technical issues;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Flag to the Lead, production, and Supervisor any problems and escalate if necessary ;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure that shots meet the render requirements and are completed in a timely fashion</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> in</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Renderman</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Submit shots in dailies and work with the team to discuss and resolve issues pertaining to the shots;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Take direction and any constructive feedback from the supervisors and apply corrective actions that serves the storytelling and the look of the shot. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\"> Your credits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">5 years experience in a similar role on animated feature length projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in Katana/Gaffer, Nuke, Houdini Solaris and</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> Renderman </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Very good understanding of light, shading and colour, as well as of compositing principles and practices;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work well within a team environment and take direction from Leads as appropriate;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Apprehension of stylized and non photoreal lighting concepts;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Sense of cinematography and story telling;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;
