    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Aptos, Aptos_EmbeddedFont, Aptos_MSFontService, Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Join Our Team and Earn Up to a $1500 Sign-On Bonus!</strong></span></span></p><p>We’re looking for a skilled <span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;\">Kitchen Fire Suppression System Technician</span></span> to help us protect commercial kitchens with top-tier safety solutions.</p><p>In this role, you’ll be responsible for <strong>inspecting, repairing, and installing kitchen fire suppression systems</strong>, ensuring compliance and reliability.&nbsp;</p><p>Experience with leading manufacturers such as <strong>Ansul, Amerex, Pyro-Chem, and Range Guard</strong> is essential.&nbsp;</p><p>If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a growing team and make an impact, we want to hear from you!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY:</u></strong></p><p>The purpose of the Fire Suppression Technician is to provide installation, inspection, service and/or repair of Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Exit Lights and/or any Pre-Engineered Suppression Systems including any associated Detection &amp; Control Systems with minimal supervision.</p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Use required tools and test equipment such as power machines groovers, cutters, band saw, lifts, etc. to repair or replace fire extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, and/or Detection &amp; Control systems components.</li><li>Comprehensive working knowledge of NFPA codes, standards, and systems such as all types of fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems and/or Detection &amp; Control systems. &nbsp;</li><li>Troubleshoot and identify defective components of pre-engineered suppression systems. &nbsp;</li><li>Repair or replace damaged components of pre-engineered suppression systems as well as fire extinguishers and/or Detection &amp; Control systems.</li><li>Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.</li><li>Required to be punctual to required work locations and complete scheduled projects in timely manner.</li><li>Use Field Service Lightning to track work orders, materials needed, time on job, etc. &nbsp;</li><li>Complete documentation on work orders.</li><li>Understand and follow SFS’s Safety program, SDS book, Hazardous communication program, policies and procedures. &nbsp;Participate in weekly Toolbox talks. &nbsp;Employee must always know location all related safety documentation on each project. &nbsp;</li><li>Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.</li><li>Periodically attend seminars or similar education/training sessions to stay abreast of latest technology, codes, and standards changes. &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><p>The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.</p><p><strong>Education, Training, Certifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent, required.</li><li>State or any required certification, preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.</li><li>2 years of professional computer skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Communication Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.</li></ul><p><strong>Other Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.</li><li>Must be able to comply with SFS’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.</li><li>Must be able to travel 90% of the time.</li></ul><p><strong><u>PHYSICAL &amp; WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform Essential Job Duties.</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, ascend and descend step stools, ladders and stairs, kneel, lift &lt;50lbs, reach above and below shoulders, stand and walk for extended periods of time. &nbsp;Employee is required to see in color, close and far distances, peripheral, depth, and adjust focus. Employee will occasional be required to balance, crouch, drive, kneel, lift &gt;50lbs, sit, stoop, twist, and work at heights.</p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p>Employees will regularly be required to work outside, and be exposed to hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards and noise.
