Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Click HERE to discover how we empower team members to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>WE LOVE OUR WORK.</h2>\n<p>Summary:</p>\n<p>Provide a safe and secure environment for customers and for company property and employees.  </p>\n<p> Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Observes and reports all gaming violations and/or thefts of company property.</li>\n <li>Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions.</li>\n <li>Participates in court actions relating to gaming violations.</li>\n <li>Learns all games in use and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games.</li>\n <li>Writes proper reports as needed in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Responds to surveillance supervision and gaming control requests.</li>\n <li>Responds to requests of all other departments when necessary.</li>\n <li>Dispatches shuttle drivers and security officers based on business and guest needs.</li>\n <li>Monitors Security entrance and issues vendor/visitor badges according to policy.</li>\n <li>Answers and directs incoming guest calls in a professional manner.</li>\n <li>Completes surveillance reviews including written reports and review of recorded footage in response to management's request.</li>\n <li>Must be knowledgeable of all special events and promotional activities available to guests.</li>\n <li>Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.</li>\n <li>Must work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.</li>\n <li>Must always show ethical and cooperative behavior with guests, co-workers and supervisors.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all departments/company policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. </li>\n <li>Follow all cleaning, sanitation and PPE position specific guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position has no supervisory responsibilities. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>BRING US YOUR BEST.</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualifications </p>\n<p>To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>You must be a minimum of 21 years of age.</li>\n <li>Must qualify for licensing with the New Mexico Racing & Gaming Commissions.</li>\n <li>High School diploma or G.E.D required.</li>\n <li>Must qualify for certification through NMAST.</li>\n <li>One to three months' previous security or surveillance experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to work varying schedule to include: all shifts, all days and holidays</li>\n <li>Ability to perform basic mathematical and computer functions</li>\n <li>Good oral and written communication skills must be fluent and literate in English.  </li>\n <li>Ability to observe and identify suspected cheaters and cheating techniques; must have 20/20 corrected vision</li>\n <li>Ability to move around all work areas effectively and efficiently</li>\n <li>Work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Ability to work as part of a team and to promote cooperative approach between departments.</li>\n <li>Ability to work unsupervised.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical Demands</p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
