Clinical Research Neurologist (Principal Investigator) Salt Lake City, Utah Outpatient Neurology | Industry-Sponsored Clinical Trials Since its founding in 2000, Rocky Mountain MS Clinic (RMMSC) has been committed to providing high-quality neurologic care and expanding access to innovative treatments and research opportunities for patients across Utah. We are seeking a Clinical Research Neurologist to join our growing outpatient neurology and clinical research program in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is ideal for a neurologist interested in combining outpatient neurology with meaningful participation in industry-sponsored clinical trials within a collaborative, physician-led environment. The position offers the opportunity to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) while working alongside an established research infrastructure with dedicated coordinators, operational support, and active clinical studies already in place. Opportunity Highlights Established and growing clinical research program Active industry-sponsored clinical trials already in place Outpatient-only neurology practice Dedicated research coordinators and operational support teams Opportunity to serve as Principal Investigator (PI) on industry-sponsored studies Collaborative physician-led culture Standard M-F Schedule, No Weekends Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities may be considered Strong operational infrastructure designed to reduce administrative burden Opportunity to help shape the future growth of a national neurology research platform Position Responsibilities Conduct clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, and federal/state regulations Evaluate and manage outpatient neurology patients participating in clinical research studies Oversee study conduct, participant safety, and data integrity Collaborate with sponsors, research coordinators, pharmaceutical partners, and regulatory personnel Review study eligibility, protocol compliance, and adverse event reporting Support patient recruitment and retention efforts for ongoing studies Ensure accurate and timely research documentation and reporting Participate in oversight of operational, regulatory, and compliance-related aspects of clinical research activities Contribute to the growth and development of the clinical research program Practice Environment You will join a physician-centered neurology organization supported by: Dedicated research coordinators and regulatory teams Administrative and scheduling support Established referral pathways Integrated infusion and ancillary services Operational leadership focused on physician efficiency and sustainable growth Collaborative neurologists across multiple subspecialties and markets This role is ideal for neurologists seeking a sophisticated research environment without the need to independently build infrastructure, sponsor relationships, or operational workflows.
