The Customer Service Clerk supports the operational goals of the department. Key responsibilities are but not limited to:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 51.07px;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;\">Operating the point-of-sale system, completing customer purchases and packaging</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;\">Responsible to provide information, assistance, and exceptional customer service to all customers.</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;\">assist with ordering, receiving and displaying the product</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;\">Receive, store, and manage product from vendors including hardware, feed, animal health products, and oil and lube</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;\">Maintain shelf and display stock and organize all goods intended for sale</p></li><li><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;\">Performs general housekeeping and maintenance duties (spills, display fixtures, washrooms, etc.) to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, clean, and tidy</p></li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm;\">&nbsp;</p><p>Why it matters:</p><p>Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners.&nbsp; Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.</p><p>Who you are:</p><p>You are looking for a career in retail/food service and you have:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Strong customer service skills based on experience.</li><li>Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs or greater</li><li>Class 5 license</li><li>Willingness to participate in forklift training and operation.</li><li>You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.</p><p>Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.<span>&nbsp; </span>We encourage our Team Members to take advantage of learning opportunities, to grow and develop and to foster a culture of teamwork and innovation.</p><p>At Co-op, we embrace diversity and inclusion, and we are working to create a workplace that is as diverse as the communities we serve.
