We constantly strive for our clients and team members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Passionate to Achieve and Win</span> - We learn quickly and create positive change.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Essential Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Write Shopify ( HTML, CSS, Javascript and Liquid) code for projects on assigned tasks</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work with CQL’s Design team to define and implement end-user functionality</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Estimate task complexity and development cost in detail (task assumptions and dependencies) so CQL’s Project Managers can provide accurate client quotes and allocate resources appropriately</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Analyze requirements and work with CQL’s Project Managers and clients to determine specific issue details</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work with CQL’s Technical Team to write acceptance criteria to ensure software solution meets client expectations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Regularly communicate with CQL’s Project Managers regarding task-level ticket status, including updates to project management software to reflect task progress and state</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Review, test, and provide feedback on work by other developers to ensure code quality. Submit ongoing work for review by peers and/or technical lead</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Write client test plans instructing clients how to set up and execute tests against changes made to the software</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Complete training and tutorials to learn new languages and skills to better support clients; Research best practices and understands code structure and organization of code</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Identify issues with existing code and proactively suggest recommended changes to prevent challenges in the future</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Accumulate domain knowledge around existing clients and projects to assist them with ongoing needs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prepare project code releases, coordinate changes with client, and send code to production upon approval from quality assurance; provide hotfixes or project releases, as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure high-level requirements are gathered to provide guidance to Technical Team for proper story writing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bring new staff members up to speed on project configuration and prepares them to contribute as part of the technical team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assign tasks in partnership with CQL’s Project Managers to ensure all tasks are accomplished</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Education &amp; Experience Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bachelor’s degree specializing in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">At least 2 years of experience in Ecommerce web development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum of 2 years experience working within the Shopify Plus platform</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">2 years experience working with Liquid, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX as necessary</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Superb troubleshooting and debugging skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Advanced experience with HTML5, and CSS, SASS</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency with Shopify tooling - Themekit / CLI</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks and libraries</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms, Version Control Systems (such as Git or Mercurial), Jenkins, Gulp, Jira, Confluence, Git Hub, and Bit Bucket</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience working in Agile development environments; utilizing Scrum principles to execute projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">React.js experience is a plus </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Other Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Working knowledge of source control and branching strategies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Possess a desire to work in a team environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both a business and technical level</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to consider cause problems and use root analysis to provide creative solutions to complex technical and business issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to manage time and tasks well; comfortable asking questions and reporting concerns to leadership</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to deliver projects on-time and on-budget</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to pay close attention to detail; asking clarifying questions to gather all relevant information</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Welcome constructive feedback and apply it to future performance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Dedicated to improving your craft and having a positive outlook</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Possess a willingness to mentor and train others</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This job description does not list all duties of the job.
