This role ensures production schedules are met while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.</p><p>The supervisor coordinates labor assignments, monitors workflow, ensures accurate order fulfillment, and supports continuous improvement within the department. This position plays a key role in maintaining productivity while ensuring all assembled and packaged products meet company and customer quality requirements.</p><p><br></p><h3>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h3><p><em>Production &amp; Workflow Management</em></p><p>Supervise daily operations of the kitting, hand assembly, and pack-out departments.</p><p>Assign labor based on production schedules, job priorities, and staffing levels.</p><p>Ensure jobs are completed accurately, on time, and according to specifications.</p><p>Monitor production throughput and adjust labor assignments to maintain efficiency.</p><p>Coordinate with production scheduling, finishing, and shipping departments to maintain workflow continuity.</p><p>Ensure work orders, job tickets, and assembly instructions are followed correctly.</p><p><em>Team Leadership</em></p><p>Provide leadership, training, and direction to kitting and pack-out team members.</p><p>Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity.</p><p>Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.</p><p>Promote a positive team culture focused on accountability, safety, and quality.</p><p>Address employee concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.</p><p><em>Quality Control</em></p><p>Ensure all kitting and pack-out work meets company quality standards and customer requirements.</p><p>Verify correct materials, quantities, labeling, and packaging for each job.</p><p>Identify and resolve quality issues during production.</p><p>Ensure QC checklists and job verification steps are completed prior to shipment.</p><p><em>Operational Coordination</em></p><p>Coordinate with warehouse and material handling teams to ensure materials are available for jobs.</p><p>Ensure finished jobs are staged and transferred to shipping or the next production step.</p><p>Communicate job status updates and production issues to management.</p><p><em>Safety &amp; Compliance</em></p><p>Ensure department follows all company safety policies and procedures.</p><p>Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with facility standards.</p><p>Monitor proper use of equipment, tools, and materials.</p><p><em>Continuous Improvement</em></p><p>Identify opportunities to improve workflow, labor efficiency, and job accuracy.</p><p>Assist management with implementation of operational improvements and process standardization.</p>",
