Employees are eligible for promotions after 3 months of service into a Lead or Senior Behavior Technician paying up $24 an hour.</p>\n<h2>Benefits Include:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Quarterly attendance bonus up to $2,000 annually</li>\n <li>Clear advancement opportunities</li>\n <li>Pay increases with promotions</li>\n <li>Evening shift premium after 4pm</li>\n <li>Ongoing training & mentorship</li>\n <li>Company recognition programs</li>\n <li>Gateway swag</li>\n <li>Clinical and administrative support so you can focus on therapy</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Company Benefits:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) Matching</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, & Vision coverage</li>\n <li>Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts</li>\n <li>Short and Long Term Disability</li>\n <li>Company-paid life insurance</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement and discounts</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n <li>Employee discounts on travel, electronics, food, and more!</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Organize and maintain instructional area throughout the session and at the conclusion of the session</li>\n <li>Prepare and keep binder, stimuli, and needed materials accessible and organized</li>\n <li>Dress appropriately and arrive on time for work with ample time to prepare for session</li>\n <li>Complete all tasks assigned that are associated with the completion of a session</li>\n <li>Receive 1:1 and group supervision from supervisors through direct observation</li>\n <li>Attend team meetings and scheduled trainings</li>\n <li>Communicate self in a professional and positive manner with coworkers and parents</li>\n <li>Respond to all internal communication (e-mail, phone call, etc.) within 24 hours</li>\n <li>Practice universal precaution to protect against the transmission of communicable diseases</li>\n <li>Maintain appropriate level of communication with parents about all aspects of therapy</li>\n <li>Deliver instruction following procedures learned from initial and ongoing training sessions and based on feedback given from supervisory staff</li>\n <li>Collect, record, and analyze data accurately following Gateway Pediatric Therapy’s procedures</li>\n <li>Respond to client’s behavior following procedures learned from initial and ongoing training session and based on feedback given by supervisory staff</li>\n <li>Complete necessary training and demonstrate accurate implementation and reporting on client specific plans, such as behavior plans and client-specific emergency procedures as outlined within internal documentation and/or the IPOS/behavioral plan of care</li>\n <li>Perform and maintain certification in basic first aid procedures</li>\n <li>Complete and submit all progress notes by the completion of the scheduled therapy session</li>\n <li>Identify when interventions are needed for specific clients and programs and communicate in a timely manner to monitoring BCBA or supervisor</li>\n <li>Implement Crisis Prevention Institute procedures as required when presented with maladaptive or undesired behaviors</li>\n <li>Reports directly to the monitoring BCBA for client needs and implementation of programs. Reports directly to Clinical Managers for administrative needs or issues</li>\n <li>Maintain client privacy in accordance with all HIPAA regulations and with Gateway policies and procedures manual</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and in writing</li>\n <li>Must be able to sit in a child size chair or on the floor; switch from standing to sitting quickly; walk, jog, or run quickly in the event of client elopement; assume and maintain a variety of postures including but not limited to, standing, sitting, kneeling, or squatting</li>\n <li>This position requires the following physical activities: bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, visual acuity, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs</li>\n <li>Must be 18 years if age or older</li>\n <li>Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Must have a valid Driver License and reliable vehicle</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>Gateway Pediatric Therapy, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a leading provider of comprehensive pediatric therapy services.
