Our biggest priority is providing outstanding customer service &amp; revolutionizing the industry through the use of the latest technology. </p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Purpose </strong></p>\n\n<p>In your role as Transfer Refuse Specialist, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer truck and ancillary equipment on assigned route to haul materials from designated sites. </p>\n\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities </strong><br />\nDuties include but are not limited to: </p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Perform pre and post trip inspections of truck </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Operate truck in accordance with DOT requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Mount and dismount a heavy-duty truck many times each day </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Complete assigned route daily, leaving pick-up location free of debris </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Haul waste or recyclable materials to transfer stations, landfills, or processing facilities </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Secure loads, operate hydraulic systems to load and unload containers, and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Professionally communicates with customers as needed </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Notify appropriate parties of any accidents, injuries, property damage, or any other incidents </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Notify appropriate parties of any service interruptions such as closed lots, blocked containers, safety hazards etc. </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Attend training programs, briefings, and meetings as required  </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Immediately communicate mechanical problems to Mechanic and Supervisor </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintains cleanliness of vehicle </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintains professional appearance </p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>",
