    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and coordinate daily inspection activities to meet quality and production requirements.</li>\n <li>Assign work and provide guidance to inspectors throughout the shift.</li>\n <li>Perform inspections according to established procedures and specifications.</li>\n <li>Verify pipe condition and readiness for inspection.</li>\n <li>Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained.</li>\n <li>Identify, evaluate, and document product imperfections and non-conformances.</li>\n <li>Review inspection results and documentation for accuracy.</li>\n <li>Train and mentor inspectors on procedures, quality standards, and safe work practices.</li>\n <li>Communicate quality concerns and inspection results to supervisors and production personnel.</li>\n <li>Promote compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate inspection workflow to support operational goals.</li>\n <li>Monitor inspection activities for consistency and compliance.</li>\n <li>Assist with troubleshooting inspection and quality-related issues.</li>\n <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for inspectors during assigned shifts.</li>\n <li>Verify inspection records and reports for accuracy.</li>\n <li>Support employee training and development.</li>\n <li>Assist with investigations of non-conforming products and corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment as required.</li>\n <li>Occasionally exert 50 to 100 pounds of force and/or frequently exert 25 to 50 pounds of force to move objects.</li>\n <li>Read and interpret inspection procedures and work instructions.</li>\n <li>Complete additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma, GED, vocational education, technical school, or equivalent preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of inspection, quality control, or manufacturing experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Basic ability to follow and enforce inspection procedures and quality standards.</li>\n <li>Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to train, mentor, and support team members.</li>\n <li>Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li>\n <li>Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Veterans Welcome!</strong></p>\n<p>At NOV, we proudly support and hire U.S. military veterans.
