          "text": "<p><strong>AECOM</strong>&#xa0;is seeking a Program Risk Manager to be located in<strong> Los Angeles, CA</strong>.&#xa0;Reporting to the U.S. West and Canada Program Risk Management Lead.</p><p>As an industry leader in program management and construction management for large capital programs, AECOM oversees activities ranging from planning, coordination, scheduling and cost control, to design, construction and commissioning. &#xa0;From concept through completion, we provide necessary technical and administrative services to help our clients meet their program objectives. We act as an extension of our clients’ staff, protecting their interests as our own.</p><p>Major Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Promote, establish, and implement a comprehensive program risk management system aligned with program needs across the full lifecycle.</li><li>Lead the Risk Management function, providing direction, leadership, and motivation to staff while fostering a strong risk-aware culture.</li><li>Ensure adequate resources, tools, and systems are in place for the efficient identification, assessment, and treatment of risks and opportunities.</li><li>Deliver program risk management services in alignment with governance frameworks, processes, and program objectives.</li><li>Develop and implement robust risk management plans, including methodologies for risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting.</li><li>Provide both embedded risk management support and discrete risk interventions as part of the overall program delivery team.</li><li>Drive value by mitigating threats, reducing risk exposure, and maximizing opportunities across the program.</li><li>Facilitate structured risk workshops, value engineering sessions, and lessons learned reviews using advanced methodologies.</li><li>Conduct day-to-day risk management activities, including risk identification, prioritization, risk register management, action planning, and monitoring.</li><li>Produce regular risk reporting, including risk exposure, drawdown, and analysis of changes in risk profiles.</li><li>Perform advanced Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), including cost, schedule, and integrated cost-schedule analysis to support forecasting and decision-making.</li><li>Ensure identification and effective management of all significant risks impacting program objectives.</li><li>Act as a risk management ambassador by coaching and mentoring stakeholders on risk processes and best practices.</li><li>Establish the program’s strategic and contract risk management approach, including defining risk assessment requirements, mitigation planning, and tracking effectiveness.</li><li>Schedule and conduct risk interviews and support facilitation of program risk workshops.</li><li>Review and analyze integrated cost and schedule risk models to validate assumptions and outputs.</li><li>Lead risk assessments, risk reviews, and formal risk meetings.</li><li>Monitor risks at both strategic and tactical levels, ensuring proactive mitigation of threats and identification of opportunities.</li><li>Integrate risk data with schedule and cost frameworks to support decision-making, mitigation planning, and performance tracking.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and administer a comprehensive risk register within program control systems.</li><li>Implement and maintain a consistent, transparent risk management process that supports risk-based decision-making and clear visibility of program risk exposure.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Minimum Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li>BA/BS + 10&#xa0;years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education, including 2 years of leadership experience.&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to travel.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>University Degree with relevant risk management experience including evidence of delivery of projects and / or programs.</li><li>11+ years of&#xa0;experience in the construction or infrastructure sectors.</li><li>Extensive experience in the application of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) techniques and tools, for example: @Risk, ARM, Acumen, and InEight, including the analysis of complex logic-linked cost-loaded schedules. &#xa0;</li><li>Experience in the delivery of risk throughout the program lifecycle including support of investment decisions and delivery/implementation phases. &#xa0;</li><li>Understanding of construction contracts and the relationship between risk management and controls/management functions including: program management, change control, planning &amp; scheduling, cost &amp; commercial management and reporting.</li><li>Evidence of previous experience in definition and delivery of risk management plans within projects and programs. &#xa0;</li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.</li><li>Collaborative working style and behaviors.</li><li>Membership of a professional body (e.g. APM, IRM)</li><li>Risk Management qualification, for example Master’s Degree or IRM International Certificate.&#xa0;</li><li>In depth understanding of planning techniques and tools, including P6 and Microsoft Project.</li><li>Experience delivering risk management at Program or Strategic level.</li><li>Experience of working in a client environment.</li><li>Experience in application of a variety of contract forms.</li><li>Experience in working for a complex business environment or large consultancy.</li></ul>",
