Job Summary: Under the general direction of the supervisor, the Greeter is responsible for meeting clients in a very personable manner, greeting guests politely, directing them to the proper office, and providing assistance to the administration as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : These include, but not limited to the following duties:
Preform all greeter duties in a pleasant, effective, and efficient manner
Meet and greet customers immediately upon their arrival
Greet all customers pleasantly and direct them to the proper places/people
Keep reception area neat, clean, and attractive
Keep service waiting areas neat, clean, and attractive
Make sure service area is stocked with water, coffee, snacks, etc.
Ask customers if they would like water, coffee, etc.
Even if a customer is waiting for service make them feel welcome and comfortable as they begin their service
Maintain a professional presence and appearance following appropriate dress code requirements
Be polite regardless of customer’s mood
Keep kid bags are stocked in each building
Make sure coffee, water, etc. is filled/stocked upon arriving at your shift and if you are there at the end of the day make sure everything is emptied and cleaned before leaving
Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and Experience: A high school or equivalent is required.
Knowledge of: Telephone systems and proper greeting protocol, computer operation, record keeping procedures, word processing, and excel spreadsheets.
Skill in: Excellent verbal and written communication, aware of and present appropriate/welcoming body language, presenting a personable and pleasant demeanor both on the phone and in person.
Ability to: Communicate to a variety of audience in a clear, concise, and effective manner. Take accurate notes/messages, manage time effectively. work well with others, work independently, establish and set work priorities, and finish jobs on a timely basis.
Physical demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands, handle objects, keyboards or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to walk outside in heat, rain, and snow.
