    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for a variety of research and legal matters, as well as supporting the business from a compliance standpoint.</p>\n<p><strong>This role requires 100% onsite attendance in our Pontiac office.</strong></p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Daily Administrative duties pertaining to the Legal/Compliance team</p></li>\n <li><p>Reviewing, monitoring, and summarizing new and updated laws and regulations</p></li>\n <li><p>Researching and analyzing law sources such as federal and state statutes and regulations</p></li>\n <li><p>Supporting regulatory filings</p></li>\n <li><p>Assisting with managing company policies and procedures</p></li>\n <li><p>Assisting with Legal/Compliance trainings</p></li>\n <li><p>Performing clerical duties such as scheduling meetings and composing and typing routine correspondence</p></li>\n <li><p>Other duties as assigned</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU</h2>\n<p><strong>Must Have Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's and Law Degree</li>\n <li>1+ years of post-graduate experience</li>\n <li>License to practice law </li>\n <li>Experience performing legal research</li>\n <li>Commitment to continuous business improvement</li>\n <li>Capability of working closely with internal clients and outside counsel</li>\n <li>Effective planning, organizational, and project management skills</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively</li>\n <li>High level of attention to detail and accuracy</li>\n <li>Excellent written and communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently</li>\n <li>Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and able to work well in a team-based environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>THE PLACE & THE PERKS</h2>\n<p>Ready to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
