This part-time position is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a child! Flexible hours, great pay ($19/hr) and participation in our 401K plan! Great entry level positon and resume builder for someone looking to start their career in Special Education!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The After School Program is located in Towson 21286. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 9:00am-4:00pm the last two weeks of June and first two weeks of August and 12:00pm-6:00pm in July. Flexible schedules are available.  Instructors MUST have a valid drivers license and auto insurance. Instructors MUST be willing to get in the pool with their client. </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a Trellis autism instructor, you will work under the supervision of one of our experienced Case Managers and gain experience using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide one-on-one support with community independence, daily living and recreation/leisure</li>\n <li>Flexible schedules; afternoon, evening and weekend shifts</li>\n <li>Additional opportunities available throughout Maryland including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard and Talbot counties</li>\n <li>Ability to advance into other roles at Trellis</li>\n <li>Great foundation for a career in special education and related fields</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is an exceptional opportunity to do meaningful work that makes a difference!</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 </li>\n <li>Eligibility to work in the United States.</li>\n <li>The ability to pass a background check.</li>\n <li>Minimum 100 hours of working/volunteer/personal experience with individuals with developmental delays</li>\n <li>Reliable transportation/Valid Driver's License/Current Auto Insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in any of the following: push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly, according to client needs.
