Occasional out-of-state travel is required.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\"><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Lead and supervise the CE Attachment engineering team, with the focus on design and development of Ground Engaging and Material Handling attachments for Compact Track Loaders and Excavators.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Own product development lifecycle from concept through product release using the Stage Gate process: planning, design, testing, validation, and launch.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Provide technical leadership and mentorship to onsite and overseas contract engineers, driving technical excellence and career development.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Review engineering deliverables (designs, calculations, drawings, specifications) for accuracy, safety and quality compliance.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Drive innovation and product improvements with emphasis on performance, durability, manufacturability, and cost optimization.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Manage multiple engineering projects concurrently from concept through production, setting priorities, schedules, budgets, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and product management teams.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Other duties may be assigned that require additional qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\"><strong>Preferred Skills and Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Bachelor&#39;s Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural or BioSystems Machinery Engineering, or related engineering discipline from a four-year college or university.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">7+ years of design or product engineering experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, or related industries.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">2+ years of supervisory or management experience leading cross-functional teams.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Demonstrated success in managing complex engineering projects.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Strong foundation in structural design, welding, fabrication, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Proficient with CAD tools such as Creo, CATIA, Windchill and FEA applications.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-size: 16px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Able and willing to travel out of state for multiple days during development phases.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Great Plains Manufacturing, headquartered in Salina, KS, is a proud subsidiary of Kubota with more than 50 years as a Kansas leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of agricultural implements, including seeding, tillage, and landscaping equipment.
