From that point forward, we strive to deliver results that are expected by our clients.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Our Virginia workers&rsquo; compensation practice is seeking a Workers&#39; Compensation Associate Attorney to join our growing team.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Handle all aspects of workers&rsquo; compensation defense litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, hearings, and appeals.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Provide strategic legal analysis and case evaluations to employers, insurers, and third‑party administrators.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Prepare and present cases before Deputy Commissioners.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Draft persuasive motions, briefs, and settlement evaluations.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, recommendations, and risk assessments.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Position Requirements:</span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and an active license in good standing in Virginia; Washington D.C. and/or Maryland license preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">2-5 years of direct workers&#39; compensation experience preferred.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Cipriani &amp; Werner P.C. offers a comprehensive benefit package.
