          "text": "<p>Our Life Enrichment teams plan, coordinate, and produce programming that delivers the 5 domains of care (Physical, Cognitive, Social, Emotional, and Spiritual). Some Residents thrive in group settings—others need something different. That’s where our Life Enrichment Worker - BSO make an incredible impact. If you’re someone who finds meaning in relationship-based care and wants to be part of an interdisciplinary team making a real difference, this role may be for you.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>If you were working with us as a Life Enrichment Worker - BSO, here are some of the things you would have done last week:</p><ul><li>Planned, led, and assisted with group programs, one-to-one activities, and special events that brought joy and meaning to Residents</li><li>Assessed Residents’ recreation, leisure, therapeutic, and restorative care needs, and developed individualized care plans to support their well-being</li><li>Participated in behavioural assessments, using tracking tools and team consults to identify responsive behaviours</li><li>Followed all BSO referral, assessment, and documentation processes</li><li>Supported Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives within the Home</li><li>Used data and observation to monitor, assess, and improve care and services</li><li>Worked in compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and Home policies, including infection control and risk prevention</li><li>Communicated respectfully and effectively with Residents, families, and team members</li><li>Responded to and reported Resident and family inquiries, directing them to the appropriate care team members</li><li>Contributed to a safe, supportive workplace, including hazard identification and use of required PPE</li><li>And supported your team as needed.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>When you apply, if you have your credentials, we will try our best to reach out to you within the week (hopefully within a few days).           "text": "<p>To be hired into this role, you must have:</p><ul><li>A post-secondary diploma, degree, or certificate in Recreation and Leisure Studies, Therapeutic Recreation, Kinesiology, or Gerontology</li><li>Minimum 6 months experience in Life Enrichment in Long Term Care (recreation, leisure, therapeutic programs, restorative care, volunteerism) preferred</li><li>Restorative Care training considered an asset</li><li>Computer skills (Email, Word, Care Planning, Graphics) with working knowledge of PCC and ActivityPro</li><li>First Aid (every 3 years) and CPR certification (annually)</li><li>Food Handler’s certification (every 5 years)</li></ul>",
