We're addressing key infrastructure and environmental challenges to help bring this community-focused project to life. We are looking to engage professionals who want to grow in an environment where we value ethics, client engagement, positive community impact and professional growth as a path to success and building a rewarding career.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Learn more about VHB's Land Development team here: Land Development | VHB</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects.</li>\n <li>Develop engineering plans and specifications in a team environment for a multitude of projects</li>\n <li>Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies</li>\n <li>Assist Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with managing and delegating tasks, forecasting and proactively addressing workload, and staffing needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates across the organization</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Attributes </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Willingness to learn implementation of integrated services projects in a team with multidisciplinary skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulations</li>\n <li>Innovative design skills to develop solutions to complex projects.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in Civil Engineering or related degree</li>\n <li>3-5+ years of increasing engineering experience</li>\n <li>EIT licensure or have passed the FE Exam</li>\n <li>Proficient in the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, MS Office</li>\n <li>Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management</li>\n <li>Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports</li>\n <li>Experience with GIS Systems is a plus – GIS is one of the tools we use to create better projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Building what’s next, together.</strong></p>\n<p>Our people make the difference.
