(NACS) is an independent emergency medicine and ambulatory care practice group that contracts exclusively with Legacy Health to provide emergency medicine professional services. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">The APP is an integral part of the Emergency Medical team and assists the flow and direct care of the patients within the Emergency Department.  They can either be a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Our EDs are staffed at all times by a Board-Certified Emergency Physicians.  Our APPs are an important member of the Emergency Department team and must have the ability to function efficiently, at times independently without direct supervision, and collectively within the team setting is a must.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">NACS APPs are required to comply within their scope of practice, hospital credentials, other laws, regulations, NACS policy, and other applicable professional standards of practice.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><em>Required</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Master’s Degree as required by specific Advanced Practice Provider role </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Demonstrated ability to satisfy standards of performance delineated by law and associated professional practice standards, the latter set forth as an addendum to the position description </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to manage heavy workload with multiple priorities and deadlines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Regular and consistent attendance at work</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Current licensure as required by specific Advanced Practice Provider governing board(s)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Certified Nurse Practitioner or certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Must have a current Oregon and/or Washington NP or PA license prior to start date</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Registered with Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and authorized to prescribe medications according to the State Board of Medicine</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif;
