This role will play a key part in cultivating new donors, strengthening donor engagement, and increasing public awareness of Our House’s mission. You will lead donor- and community-facing outreach efforts, represent Our House at public events and speaking engagements, coordinate press and media opportunities, and guide prospective supporters through the giving and engagement process.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(24, 154, 214); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: 800\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Serve as a primary point of contact for donor and community engagement, cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual, corporate, and community supporters</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Identify, engage, and cultivate new donors, funding prospects, and prospective partners, guiding them through tours, conversations, proposals, follow-up, and ongoing relationship management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Develop giving proposals for private and corporate funders and steward them through the full giving cycle—from initial outreach to solicitation and continued engagement</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with the Board of Directors by providing regular updates on donor prospects and major givers, and engage board members in identifying and cultivating new funding opportunities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Coordinate recognition efforts for key donors, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen ongoing relationships</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Represent Our House at community events, speaking engagements, and outreach opportunities to raise awareness about Our House and build partnerships</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Develop and maintain a calendar of outreach opportunities, speaking engagements, and public events to ensure consistent community visibility</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Serve as the primary liaison for media and press, including drafting press releases, coordinating interviews, and managing media inquiries</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with the Development team to support major fundraising events</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Analyze the existing donor and volunteer base to identify opportunities for deeper engagement, including increased giving and long-term involvement</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Generate creative engagement initiatives and campaigns to inspire community involvement, promoted through email, social media, and other platforms</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Write and publish blog and news posts for the Our House website to spotlight clients, programs, events, and community impact stories</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to align community outreach efforts and integrate volunteers into broader engagement strategies</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(24, 154, 214); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: 800\">What You’ll Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience in donor cultivation, fundraising, or community engagement is highly preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate a wide range of individuals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to work effectively across teams and with diverse community partners</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and see them through to completion</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on improving systems and growing impact</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">A collaborative spirit, positive attitude, and deep commitment to the mission and values of Our House</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(24, 154, 214); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: 800\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle to use in performance of job.
