    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Electrical Engineer</strong>  to support the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) at Hill AFB in Ogden Utah.  C3BM functions as the Air Force’s technical, acquisition and sustainment experts providing unique and comprehensive support to the warfighter. The ADE Division is responsible for a vast array of USAF systems to include Electronic Warfare, Range Systems, Range Instrumentation, Air Combat Training and Aircrew Readiness, Command and Control Systems, Advanced Radar Threat Systems, Combat Survivor Evader Locator, P5 Combat Training Systems, Black Switch and Legacy Voice Systems. Furthermore, the ADE Division provides support to depot level sustainment and maintenance efforts, FMS, U.S. Army, Navy, Pacific Air Forces, Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), and Air Education and Training Command (AETC) on a continuous basis.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>In this role, you will provide Electrical Engineering support for programs and projects, ensuring the successful research, design, development, installation, testing, and operation of systems under the Integrated Product Team (IPT). Your work will apply practical engineering knowledge across a broad range of established system engineering principles, concepts, and methods, with a strong emphasis on electrical engineering while ensuring Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) is integrated into all activities. This position requires strong systems engineering expertise with a focus on electrical engineering, a deep understanding of DoD acquisition processes, and the ability to analyze and assess technical and operational requirements throughout the system lifecycle.</p>\n<h3>Duties include, but not limited to: </h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct system engineering reviews and analyses throughout the system lifecycle, including concept development, demonstration and validation, engineering and manufacturing development, production, deployment, and operations & support.</li>\n <li>Develop and/or refine system features, enhancing, extending, or validating existing processes, data, methods, or techniques.</li>\n <li>Assist in translating DoD user requirements into system requirements to guide the design, development, fabrication, testing, and evaluation of systems, subsystems, and equipment.</li>\n <li>Review overall system design baselines to assess architecture and interoperability requirements.</li>\n <li>Support the development of system specifications and architecture products.</li>\n <li>Perform independent analysis of engineering change proposals, specifications, and vendor submissions, providing recommendations to the Government POC regarding their acceptability.</li>\n <li>Conduct life cycle cost evaluations on proposed systems and components.</li>\n <li>Assist with test and evaluation (T&E) activities, including test planning, execution, and result assessments to ensure compliance with operational requirements.</li>\n <li>Evaluate and coordinate the availability and capability of major DoD and civilian test resources and facilities.</li>\n <li>Support scheduling and securing of required test resources in alignment with program office objectives.</li>\n <li>Monitor, assess, and report on T&E efforts, ensuring adherence to project timelines and requirements.</li>\n <li>Assist in designing, planning, executing, analyzing, reporting, and documenting test and evaluation programs, including certifications and compliance procedures.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the development of technical plans by reviewing technical documents, participating in working groups, tracking risk and issue resolution, and supporting special studies to evaluate alternative approaches.</li>\n <li>Provide support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Citizenship: Must be a US citizen</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Clearance: </strong> Must hold an active Secret clearance </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 3 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD <strong>OR</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Degree in related field from ABET Accredited University</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Technical Expertise:</strong> Experience and/or training in the following electrical engineering disciplines:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Design & Development – Electrical circuit analysis, RF chain sub-specialties (antenna design, high-power transmitters/amplifiers, receiver processing, etc.), and electro-mechanical controls.</li>\n   <li>Modeling & Simulation – Application in electrical engineering projects.</li>\n   <li>Test & Evaluation – Hands-on experience conducting and assessing electrical system tests.</li>\n   <li>Foreign Ground Radar Intelligence – Experience or application to DoD systems.</li>\n   <li>DoD Acquisition Processes – Understanding of technical data package development, sustainment, and principles of configuration management.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Familiarity With:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Electronic Warfare and/or Air Combat Operations, including live aircrew training and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) development.</li>\n   <li>Range Infrastructure Architectures & Systems.</li>\n   <li>Foreign Ground Radar technology and applications.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Additional Information</strong></em></p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Hill AFB Ogden UT</p>\n<p><strong>Onsite</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-JG1</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Odyssey </strong>is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
