Many of these youth are exiting the foster care and group home system or are currently living in foster homes and shelters. Our goal is to create positive and meaningful connections; increase overall school engagement, including high school graduation, and post-secondary enrolment; and increase stable housing, improved mental and physical health, and strong support networks. StepStones adheres to a \"whatever it takes\" approach to servicing youth. We go above and beyond to support their needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>StepStones is embarking on a once-in-a-generation growth period with the establishment of our new integrated hub and housing facility in downtown Toronto. Relationships with our donors and partners have never been more critical as we work together to support our young people. The Senior Manager, Fund Development role will balance cultivating new supporters and working with colleagues to steward current donors. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Impact as a Senior Manager, Fund Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Stakeholder Reporting and Management:</span> Lead comprehensive reporting for public and private stakeholders, including budgets, metrics, and financial statements for fundraising activities. Develop process efficiencies to streamline reporting requirements.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Grant Writing and Reporting:</span> Research and identify new grant opportunities to increase support from new corporate partnerships, individual donors and foundations, and lead the development of applications and completion of reports as required to secure funding.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Data Management:</span> Maintain donor records, input related activities and produce reports in the <em>DonorPerfect </em>CRM database, ensuring high data entry accuracy and timely record-keeping of donor interactions and contributions.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Annual Fundraising: </span>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the management of current qualified prospects and engaged donors (e.g., 75-100) in the annual gift range of $10K-$200K to ensure we strengthen their engagement opportunities.</li>\n<li>Research and develop relationships with new prospects (e.g., 20 - 25) to move them through the full donor cycle: developing and executing an in-person cultivation and solicitation strategy and preparing stewardship opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Stewardship: </span>Engage in direct communication and stewardship activities, including thank-you cards, tax receipts, donor recognition, social media posts, facility tours, and consistent, timely information updates.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Events:</span> In collaboration with fellow staff members, organize and execute donor stewardship and community engagement events, including booking vendors and venues and coordinating volunteers.</li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as required or assigned to support the organization's overall goals and fund development efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who You Are: Senior Manager, Fund Development</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Passionate:</span> Inspired by the work of StepStones and eager to build on our vision of seeing <em>a country where all young people thrive and have a sense of belonging and success, surrounded by people who love and support them.</em>  </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experienced:</span> 4 – 6 years of proven fundraising success with experience in soliciting and developing new relationships and stewarding long-term donors.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communicator:</span> Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaborative:</span> A positive and inclusive working style. Highly developed interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and confidentiality when working with members, staff and donors.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Organized:</span> Excellent project and time management skills. Very keen attention to detail, coupled with the ability to multitask.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Capable:</span> Familiarity with using Microsoft 365 tools.
