This is a distinctive leadership opportunity to manage and expand Lochner&#39;s technical capabilities while contributing to high-profile Coastal and impactful Coastal Watershed projects and programs throughout Texas.</p>\n\n<p>In this role, you will:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Lead and Grow the Team: Hire, manage, and mentor a talented group of coastal watershed professionals in Texas, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture with strong partnerships.</li>\n\t<li>Shape Regional Strategy: Collaborate with leadership and staff to craft and execute a long-term strategy for the growth and development of Lochner&#39;s Coastal Practice in Texas.</li>\n\t<li>Deliver Complex Projects: Lead the design and delivery of high-impact Coastal projects, including master planning, environmental restoration, flood mitigation studies, Coastal resiliency, and navigational channel processes and shoreline restoration initiatives.</li>\n\t<li>Drive Business Development: Lead &amp; cultivate client partnerships, direct project pursuits, and guide proposals, contracts, and presentations.</li>\n\t<li>Promote Technical Excellence: Apply advanced expertise in modeling tools that may include models such as ADCIRC+SWAN, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM, ADC/RC, SMS, ArcMap, QUAL2K, ModFlow, Python, MATLAB, SPSS, and Vensim, etc&nbsp;to ensure innovative project delivery that meets client needs.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Texas PE license and a bachelor&#39;s or master&#39;s degree in coastal, civil or environmental engineering.</li>\n\t<li>8+ years of experience delivering coastal projects, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or project management role.</li>\n\t<li>Proven success working with governmental agencies, especially TxGLO, NGO,USACE, NOAA, local municipalities, Texas ports, and the local maritime industry.</li>\n\t<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Experience managing Texas Coastal projects a plus.</li>\n\t<li>Expertise in Coastal and Floodplain FEMA flooding modeling and&nbsp;floodplain mapping.&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Background in channel design,&nbsp;shoreline restoration, beneficial use of dredge material process, habitat restoration and navigation planning.</li>\n\t<li>PE with strong experience in Coastal design and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) is a strong plus.</li>\n</ul>\n",
