    "description": "<p>The Refrigeration Engineer is responsible for maintaining and managing all HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and refrigeration systems on board an ultra-luxury ocean-going yacht. This position ensures that all systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, cooling systems, and hotel equipment, operate at optimal efficiency and maintaining the highest standards of comfort for guests and crew. The role requires collaboration with both technical and hotel management teams to meet the specific needs of the yacht's operational environment. The 1st Refrigeration Engineer reports to the Chief Engineer.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">People Management:</span></p>\n<p>·         Ability to lead, instruct, and motivate a diverse technical team to ensure effective maintenance and repair operations.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Guest-Centric Focus:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong focus on ensuring that all HVAC and refrigeration systems contribute to a comfortable, luxurious guest experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Operational Oversight:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Skilled in overseeing the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex systems to ensure seamless yacht operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality and Compliance:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to adhere to and enforce industry standards, regulations, and best practices for HVAC and refrigeration systems, and maintain a high level of service and safety.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strategic Planning and Innovation:</span></p>\n<p>·         Ability to develop strategies for system improvements, long-term maintenance planning, and overall operational efficiency.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Yacht Integration:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of how HVAC and refrigeration systems integrate with the overall operational needs of the yacht.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>·   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent vocational training with a technician degree.</p>\n<p>·   Engineer with license III/2 or relevant managerial experience in AC&amp;R (Air Conditioning &amp; Refrigeration) and hotel equipment maintenance.</p>\n<p>·   Several years of experience in the maintenance and operation of HVAC and refrigeration systems on board luxury yachts or similar vessels.</p>\n<p>·   Proven experience working in close cooperation with hotel management and engineering departments, especially in luxury settings.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Willingness to work aboard the yacht and travel internationally, often for extended periods of time.</span></p>",
