The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high‑quality execution services across Latin American markets, partnering closely with sales, research, and electronic trading teams, and delivering exceptional service to institutional clients.</p>\n<p>This role is ideal for an experienced, energetic, and detail‑oriented equity trader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is looking to grow within a global, high‑performance equities platform.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute high‑touch cash equity orders across Latin American markets, (ADRs) with a focus on best execution, market nuance, and client service.</li>\n <li>Manage risk exposures within established limits while optimizing trading performance and contributing to desk PnL.</li>\n <li>Maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, providing market color, liquidity insights, and trade ideas.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with sales, research, and electronic trading teams to enhance the overall client offering.</li>\n <li>Monitor market developments, corporate actions, liquidity shifts, and regulatory changes impacting LatAm equity markets.</li>\n <li>Support daily desk functions including trade booking, reconciliation, and coordination with operations and compliance.</li>\n <li>Contribute to content generation, pre‑trade analysis, and client‑facing commentary.</li>\n <li>Uphold the highest professional standards and represent Jefferies’ culture of integrity, teamwork, and client‑focused execution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or a related field.</li>\n <li>5–7 years of relevant cash equities trading experience, ideally with direct exposure to Latin American markets.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of market microstructure, liquidity dynamics, and local regulations across major LatAm exchanges.</li>\n <li>Quantitative aptitude and strong analytical skills.</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Bloomberg, EMS/OMS platforms, and trading analytics preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑moving, high‑volume environment.</li>\n <li>Exceptional communication skills and client‑facing confidence.</li>\n <li>Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple workflow streams.</li>\n <li>A self‑starter who can operate autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.</li>\n <li>Required licenses: Series 7, 63, and 57 (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>New York, NY Full Time Salary Range of $175,000-$235,000.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>#LI-DNI</p>",
