We also offer our employee assistance program to part-time employees.</li>\n <li><strong>Your Impact Matters:</strong> Join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data</li>\n <li>Assist patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care</li>\n <li>Assist with urinary catheter removal, finger stick blood sugars, bladder scans, routine urine and stool specimen collection, ostomy care and emptying drainage receptacles/tubes </li>\n <li>Remove peripheral IV’s as directed by RN (may not remove any IV’s located in antecubital fossa or higher)</li>\n <li>Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves and document oral intake</li>\n <li>Turn and position immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participate in mobility program</li>\n <li>Transport patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current enrollment in an accredited nursing school (ADN or BSN program) - must provide proof of completion of the first year/fundamentals of nursing (or equivalent)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and procedures and aseptic practices </li>\n <li>Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to follow written and verbal instructions, and to maintain effective working relations with others including patients, families, physicians and other hospital associates. </li>\n <li>BLS certification required upon hire</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Data</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans</em></p>",
