    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing, LLC</strong>, an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a <strong>Plant Production Planner</strong> at our Northland plant in Green Bay, WI .</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As our <strong>Plant Production Planner</strong>, you will:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Firm-up Planned Manufacturing Orders.</li>\n <li>Create new Manufacturing Orders as needed.</li>\n <li>Adjust the Bill of Materials to reflect actual raw materials/supplies being utilized.</li>\n <li>Confirm raw materials/supplies needed are available and located in the Production staging location.</li>\n <li>Monitor Production Receipts to verify the schedule is being followed.</li>\n <li>Maintain the Manufacturing Orders as needed.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with the AFG Corporate Scheduler to make sure customer expectations are met.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the Item Master Guru to help maintain the standard Bill of Materials.</li>\n <li>Work with Plant Purchasing and Corporate Purchasing Teams to ensure that Production has sufficient supplies.</li>\n <li>Provide support to the Plant Production Team so that they can fulfill Manufacturing Orders.</li>\n <li>Verify raw materials/supplies have been moved out of the Production staging location after the shift.</li>\n <li>Adjust the actual operations, actual materials, and production receipts for Manufacturing Orders.</li>\n <li>Close Manufacturing Orders</li>\n <li>NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications (Required):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>Prior production planning/scheduling experience.</li>\n <li>Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, write, and speak).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior experience working in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry plant.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn and use scheduling systems used by the Company.</li>\n <li>Strong written and oral communication skills.</li>\n <li>Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task and be a team player.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer. </strong>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
