This role is responsible for ensuring deliverables are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.</p>\n<p>The Department Manager will provide administrative leadership, workforce planning, training oversight, and operational management while partnering closely with leadership teams to drive departmental success and continuous improvement initiatives.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with company leadership to establish departmental goals, priorities, and strategic initiatives </li>\n <li>Manage staffing, workload balancing, and resource allocation across projects and operational tasks </li>\n <li>Lead, mentor, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance objectives and career growth </li>\n <li>Develop and implement training programs to strengthen technical, operational, and leadership capabilities within the department </li>\n <li>Conduct regular employee performance reviews using established KPIs and operational metrics </li>\n <li>Monitor and evaluate: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>On-time completion of tasks and projects </li>\n  <li>Budget adherence and resource utilization </li>\n  <li>Quality and accuracy of deliverables </li>\n  <li>Team collaboration and communication effectiveness </li>\n  <li>Compliance with safety policies and company standards </li>\n  <li>Employee development and training participation </li>\n </ul>\n <li>Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance team performance and project execution </li>\n <li>Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and integrity throughout the department </li>\n <li>Evaluate schedules and manpower requirements while proactively adjusting workloads and staffing needs </li>\n <li>Review and approve departmental deliverables, reports, and documentation </li>\n <li>Ensure department activities meet company procedures, client requirements, and project expectations </li>\n <li>Communicate scope, schedule, and resource changes in a timely manner </li>\n <li>Plan and organize team collaboration initiatives, mentoring efforts, and training programs </li>\n <li>Track and report department performance metrics related to budget, schedule, quality, staffing, and productivity </li>\n <li>Support procurement activities and administrative processes as needed </li>\n <li>Participate in ongoing professional development planning and organizational growth initiatives </li>\n <li>Employee may be required to visit job sites, field offices, and customer locations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, Process Engineering, or related field) </li>\n <li>Minimum 10 years of experience supervising and managing large office-based teams, including staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, training programs, and operational oversight </li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead diverse teams, maintain high productivity standards, and foster a collaborative work environment </li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of business operations, scheduling, workforce planning, and resource management </li>\n <li>Ability to interpret organizational goals and implement best practices to support operational success </li>\n <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills </li>\n <li>Strong strategic planning, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities </li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities independently within fast-paced environments </li>\n <li>Excellent written communication and documentation skills </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments and leadership teams </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting EPC, engineering, construction, utility, industrial, or infrastructure environments </li>\n <li>Familiarity with project controls, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance metrics </li>\n
