Position Overview The Senior Healthcare Content Strategist / Medical Copywriter will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing high-quality healthcare content across websites, blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and patient education materials. This role involves SEO content writing, healthcare copywriting, UX content development, patient communication content, and provider-facing messaging. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in medical content writing, behavioral health communication, and SEO-driven healthcare marketing content. Key Responsibilities A. Patient-Facing Healthcare Content Write SEO-optimized content for healthcare websites, landing pages, treatment education pages, and blog articles. Develop patient education materials, FAQs, brochures, and healthcare guides. Translate complex clinical concepts into simple, patient-friendly language. Maintain consistent brand voice across all healthcare content channels. Create UX-friendly content for forms, navigation elements, and user flows. Optimize content readability, accessibility, and user engagement. B. Provider & Partner Communication Content Create provider recruitment materials and referral communication content. Develop email campaigns, provider onboarding content, and partnership presentations. Adapt messaging for clinicians, administrators, and healthcare partners. Ensure accuracy and professional tone in all provider-facing content. C. SEO & Digital Content Development Develop SEO-friendly healthcare content using keyword research and content optimization techniques. Write blog posts, articles, and long-form content aligned with healthcare SEO strategies. Collaborate with UX and Marketing teams to align content with user journeys. Optimize content for search engine visibility and user engagement. Support landing page copywriting for marketing campaigns. D. Campaign & Launch Content Support Develop content for new service launches, location openings, and awareness campaigns. Write scripts for videos, webinars, and promotional campaigns. Support digital marketing and brand communication initiatives. Collaborate with Design and Video teams to align visuals and messaging. E. Compliance & Governance Ensure all healthcare content aligns with HIPAA compliance and regulatory guidelines. Maintain approved messaging libraries, disclaimers, and standardized healthcare language. Partner with clinical teams to validate medical accuracy. Review content for compliance, grammar, tone, and clarity. Reduce rework by anticipating clinical and compliance feedback. Requirements 3–4 years of professional experience in healthcare copywriting, medical writing, or content strategy roles. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. Proven experience in SEO content writing and healthcare digital marketing. Strong experience writing patient education and clinical content. Excellent knowledge of tone, voice, UX writing, and brand messaging. Ability to manage high-volume content production across multiple projects. Strong collaboration skills across Marketing, Clinical, Legal, and Design teams. Must-Have Capabilities Exceptional healthcare content writing and editing skills. Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient communication.
