This role is for an on-going assignment. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#SIC</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI On-Site</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI-VB1</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Responsible for calibrating all instrumentation gages and for maintaining an accurate and auditable gauge/calibration system.</p>\n<p>• Audit focal for all instrumentation calibration related matters involving FAA, Customer auditors and external auditors. Responsible for maintaining an accurate and auditable gage/calibration system. </p>\n<p>• Responsible for the filing of certs in an organized manner and maintaining them per customer record retention requirements.</p>\n<p>• Responsible for the initiation, follow up and assistance in out of tolerance (OOT) investigations.</p>\n<p>• Responsible for the documentation of calibration extensions and lost gages, as needed.</p>\n<p>• Responsible for requesting repair parts and repair quotes from outside vendors, when needed.</p>\n<p>• Responsible for entering new gages into the calibration system.</p>\n<p>• Responsible for marketing gages per local policy requirements.</p>\n<p>• Works with the QCE on the development and/or ordering of new gaging and calibration policies, as needed.</p>\n<p>• Responsible for the request for quote and ordering of new or replacement gages, as needed.</p>\n<p>• Responsible for calibrating all instrumentation gages within the facility which includes but is not limited to machine based gages, pressures gages, temperate gages, timers etc.</p>\n<p>• Policy focal for all internal site instrumentation calibration related policies. Inspect and maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. </p>\n<p>• Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.• Analyze and resolve work problems.• Must have the ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.• Skilled in both written and verbal communication.• As required, perform safety inspections of work area, equipment and tools in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC’s safety program.• Knowledge of safety standards and precautions for plant maintenance and repair work.• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.• Observe SIC/Client Safety processes and procedures at all times.• Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment.• Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>At least two years experience related to general production maintenance. Supports site maintenance activities through the safe performance of a wide range of manual and skilled labor tasks.</p>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, freezers, and warehouses, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions.
